About this guy right here

I am a formally educated physicist. However, I believe that formal education is not strictly necessary and that a person with sufficient motivation and intelligence in principle is able to do anything.

In early 2019 I joined Ento Labs as a co-founder. We apply machine learning to various data sources related to energy consumption with the goal to optimize energy efficiency and minimize CO2 emissions. Simply put: The easiest way to optimize energy consumption in public and commercial buildings.

Before joining Ento Labs I completed a PhD in power system engineering and energy finance at Aarhus University and Danske Commodities. See my publications here. This followed my degree in physics, also from Aarhus University, with some IT consulting bridging the gap.

I have great analytical skills and excel at structuring solutions to complex problems. This is evidenced by the high level of productivity during my PhD, which dealt with simulations of complex electricity transmission networks and maximizing the value of wind power purchase agreements using massive amounts of historical weather data.

You can find me on Twitter and LinkedIn. Sometimes I share code at GitHub. You can write me an email by combining my first name with the domain of this website.

Stay up to date with my infrequent blog by subscribing to the feed.
